Fredrick Hull spent years working side-by-side with police officers trained in criminal investigation. He is trained and educated in criminal investigation and knows how it translates to success inside a courtroom. As a criminal defense attorney, Fredrick Hull is known for obtaining successful outcomes for his clients.

Fredrick Hull graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors Degree in Economics (1998) with an emphasis in Law and a Masters Degree in Economics (2000). In 2003 he graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Law.

Criminal Law Experience

Fredrick Hull began his career as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney prosecuting all types of crimes in the state of Texas. His first position was at the Van Zandt County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in Canton, Texas. For nearly two years he served the citizens of Van Zandt County prosecuting criminal cases ranging from DWI to murder. During this time he experienced great success as a trial attorney and was promoted to the First Assistant within office. While there, he was solely responsible for the prosecution of all Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) cases in Van Zandt County. Fredrick Hull personally handled close to one hundred DWI cases during this time and had a 90% DWI conviction rate.

Gaining Valuable Criminal Trial Knowledge

Fredrick Hull’s success and rapid ascent up the chain of command landed him a job at the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in McKinney. It didn’t take long for his skills to be noticed. Fredrick was promoted to Court Chief where his focus was training new prosecutors in criminal trial work. This experience allowed his skills to rapidly progress as he personally oversaw and managed the prosecution of hundreds of criminal cases.

The Collin County District Attorney’s Office was not the only prosecution office impressed by Fredrick Hull. He took his experience and skills to the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in Fort Worth in 2006.

Fredrick Hull spent over six years as a prosecutor working to put criminals in Texas prisons. He attended multiple trial skills seminars and schools put on by the Texas District and County Attorney’s Association, some of which are available only to prosecutors. They included but are not limited to the Texas Homicide Symposium, TDCAA Trial Skills Seminar, TDCAA Advanced Trial Skills Seminar, and countless hours of criminal trial and investigation courses. In addition, he personally trained prosecutors and police officers on how to testify in criminal jury trials. But the true measure of Mr. Hull’s ability does not come from schools or seminars. It comes from the thousands of hours spent in courtrooms conducting criminal trials.

Criminal Defense Expertise Helping Clients

In January of 2010, Fredrick Hull left the District Attorney’s Office and began practicing as a criminal defense attorney.

Since this time, Fredrick Hull has garnered a reputation as a criminal defense attorney who gets his client’s criminal charges either dismissed or found not guilty by a jury.

The invaluable experience, knowledge, skills, and education possessed by Fredrick Hull separates him from other criminal defense attorneys. Fredrick Hull offers his clients skilled criminal defense. He has obtained advanced training in:

  • Cross-examination of expert witnesses
  • Cross-examination of DNA test experts
  • Cross-examination of fingerprint test experts
  • Crime scene investigation procedures
  • Crime scene testing procedures
  • Criminal interrogation techniques

These are just a few of the many advantages Fredrick Hull brings to clients charged with a criminal offense. There is no better advantage than inside knowledge of prosecution techniques. This allows clients charged with a criminal offense to know what the other side is going to do.

Fredrick Hull knows how a successful criminal prosecutor prepares a criminal trial. He also understands the impact a criminal conviction can have on someone’s future. Most importantly, he knows the various factors that can cause even the most talented criminal prosecutors to “lose” a jury trial. A very small percentage of all criminal defense lawyers in Texas bring an advantage this large to the table.

If you are charged with a crime, do you want your future in the hands of just any criminal defense attorney? Or would you rather hire someone with the knowledge, skills, and background who knows firsthand how the game is played and won?
